In the organization of underground mineral extraction, there is a risk of mine loss due to flooding from underground waters. Therefore, it is necessary to perform waterproofing of individual workings. One solution to this problem is the construction of waterproof barriers. This issue is particularly critical in the extraction of potash deposits, where the incoming waters are mineralized solutions, which increases the requirements for the materials used.

Our specialists have developed a set of materials that helps solve this problem. The set consists of three types of products:

Waterproofing Blocks – used as the first layer of the wall. Their ability to expand repeatedly upon contact with water and mineralized solutions reduces the risk of mine flooding. Structural Block – a corrosion-resistant material that bears the main load of the dam structure, ensuring a stable connection with salt rocks and operational durability. Bitumen Block – a liquid material that flows at 10°C, filling gaps and preventing water penetration.
